Service Interruptions and Planned Maintenance
The University Information Services website provides live service status indicators on its homepage. You should see these in the first instance as there may be planned maintenance, and University-wide service interruptions are posted here.
In addition to the University maintenance announcements, College systems, such as administration systems (including remote access to desktops) will be unavailable at the following times for planned maintenance:
6:00am – 8:45am Friday after the second Tuesday of each month
Security updates to systems may be needed outside of normal scheduled times, for example responding to imminent security vulnerabilities. In cases such as this, as much notice as possible will be given via E-mail.
Out-of-Hours Support
Normal working hours are 0900 - 1700 Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and other times that the College is closed, such as Christmas.
Please submit a ticket via the Service Desk and this will be responded to during normal working hours.
If the issue is high-impact please contact the Porters Lodge, there is a process in place for emergency escalation should they not be able to resolve the issue temporarily.
